WEATHER- This weather section will provide user an instant access for 5-days forecast with temperature, humidity, rainfall possibility, expected wind speed with its direction for locations of interest based on set preferences. Farmers may add or remove the locations for which information is required. It will benefit to the farmers in planning, taking corrective action & take decisions on farming related activities. At a time, 2 districts can be selected as preferences for weather data access. Data source is from IMD.
MARKET INFORMATION- This section provides information on the prevailing prices in market yards along with quantities arrived for trade. Farmers can view the market status, trends & take a decision on sale of their produce. Farmers may add or remove up to 5-markets & get information. They can also search for status of commodities. Farmer can get last 3-updates on transactions in market on any agricultural commodity at any point of time. Data source is from AGMARKNET (Major) & NCEDX/ ODISHA FISHERY (Minor).
CONTEXTUALIZED ADVISORIES- This is crop specific advisories service for various ago-climatic zones based on prevailing conditions are provided. The advisories & alerts are provided based on research by industry experts; they can guide farmers to initiate necessary & corrective actions based on prevailing weather conditions. These advisories & alerts are provided in audio format for the convenience of those farmers who are more comfortable in their local language & prefer audio. Farmers may add or remove crops with locations for which the information is required. At a time, 2-crops can be selected as preferences for weather data access.
ASK OUR EXPERTS - This is a unique feature of “IFFCO Kisan” App. Through this section farmers can send their queries to a panel of experts from the app itself even those farmer who find it difficult to write their questions they can take a photo of the plant/ part of the concerned area/ decease etc. & can send to our experts to study the issue & our experts will provide personalized solution through 1-to-1 call.
GYAN BHANDAR- Name is self-explanatory, it is a single source/ place for user to get all Important Information related to selected crops information one may need to know Farmers may add or remove crop information.
IKSL HELPLINE- Farmers can access IKSL ‘534351’ Helpline Service from “IFFCO Green SIM card”. These Green SIM card subscribers may use this option to talk with IKSL experts through this exclusive helpline.
KISAN CALL CENTRE SERVICES- KCC service is an instant service which can be accessed from “IFFCO Kisan” app by clicking this icon. Farmer can use this option to dial to KCC Services of Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. It is managed by IFFCO Kisan Sanchar Limited (IKSL).
DASHBOARD- This is a single screen source of all information through functional icons; user can set in the preferences as well as can access any application in the app.
PREFERENCES- Through this section user can set his/her own preferences/ interests in all the services.
PROFILE- User can access/update personal profile data. In current version, this is enabled for ‘Kisan Clubs’ for which profile data is collected by ‘Kisan Bandhus’. Please contact our nearest office for more information.
